The Nose
Design work done for Dan McCorkle's senior film at Champlain College. I designed a visual identity for the film, which included the title logo, movie poster, press kit, intro credits, and end credits.
'The Nose' is a modern take on Russian author Nikolai Gogol's The Nose. For the visual identity, I was influenced by Russian constructivism and sci-fi films. McCorkle's films always include some element of outer space visuals, so I leaned into a 'Star Wars' aesthetic while giving viewers some awareness of the story's Russian roots.
Included in this gallery are the movie poster, two samples from the press kit, and screencaps from the film's intro credit sequence. The full film can be watched here.
